Take time to realize
That your warmth is
Crashing down on me
Take time to realize
That I am on your side
Well didn't I, didn't I tell you
But I can't spell it out for you
No it's never gonna be that simple
No I can't spell it out for you

I am officially a magnet for nutcases. I was in a cab today and taxi driver kept mumbling to himself. if he was speaking to me i sure as hell could'nt make out a thing he said. maybe this is what long hours on the road will do to you.
aahhh..but this is not my most exciting encounter with the mentally unstable. i've told this story many times before but since we're on the topic i shall tell it again.
So there i was, emerging innocently from the gates of the sommerset mrt station with my little sis. i see this small sized urasion woman walking quickly towards me. ( ah well, maybe she's a tourist in need of directions). i keep walking toward the wall nevertheless, because i had to wait for my cousins to come.
and then, i she nicely starts talking to me in a very rough tone about a meter away from me. i immediately sense that she may not be so mentally sound so i just kept quiet looked down and asked my sis to do the same. i'm thinking, if i ignore her she'll go away and scold some other innocent people.
But of course, this does not happen, because its me, and strange things always happen to me. instead she comes closer and closer, until we were nose to nose. at this point i obviously could'nt ignore her so i looked up at her and continued to keep quiet. ( i mean what can i say right???) and then she gets really vulgar. Omgoodness. she was threatening to kill me and all. walau. ( still i keep quiet, nvm ah..she mad wat to do.) i was lookign around at the able bodied men standing around me with a I-need-help-look. but chivalry is dead gone and buried under piles of dirt. and then she starts waving her fists at me and all of a sudden she decides that she would like to hit me!
Now, i could'nt ignore her. i push her back as hard as i could and whacked her back will all the profanities my panicked state of mind could think of. and then i ran for it. my sister meanwhile abandoned ship completely. leaving me to fend for myself. she calls to me from a distance: " run sab! run!" ( remind me not to call my sis in times of crisis) . i ran to the control station for help. i told the lady at the counter that i was being harassed by this crazy lady.
Now here comes the best part..
The crazy lady tells the lady at the counter that I AM THE CRAZY ONE!
this is too much.
The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four is suffering from some form of mental illness. Think of your three best friends. If they're okay, then it's you.

My 2008 so far has been filled with birthdays and their preparations...
just recently we had fiq's..=)

and then next its's jim's on the 1st of march. and then a month's break for khai's in may.

but of course.... before all of that. the most important one in january cannot go unmentioned. Mine! We had it at my place...

And of course... i have to make everyone look absolutely ridiculous so they were all forced to wear party hats...
mua-
hahahahhaahahha
planning all these birthdays are exhausting. especially with this bunch of cows. but that's okay because, they're worth it.

i am hereby officially blaming Nan for convincing me to waste a few hrs of my life to set this blog up.
why i did it im not sure. just another excuse to spend additional hrs infront of the computer screen.
It took me a very very very very very long time to figure out how to do this. it has brought me to the conclusion that i can never ever have a career in IT. all these codes are complete gibberish to me. i would have a better chance at understanding french. i have a new found respect for technologists. they are either really smart or just completely nuts.
